There are thousands and thousands of web radio stations to be found on the web, and they are being joined by more every day. With the Internet radio elements W from sonoro, a router and Internet access, you can receive and save these stations. When it is turned on, the router establishes a connection to the Internet, independently of whether a PC is running. The Internet radio picks up the signal from the router and can establish a connection to the Internet, either by LAN cable or wirelessly via a WLAN antenna, just like a PC. elements W has a module which directly accesses a server online. Tens of thousands of pre-stored web radio stations are located on the server. Picture the module that makes all of this possible as a kind of mini PC which receives, transmits, stores and converts signals (e.g. MP3 data packages as audible signals, resulting in music). The radio listeners use a menu on the Internet radio display to select what they want to hear: perhaps a Spanish radio station that broadcasts rap music from the 1980s around the clock. Users can search for music styles and countries or enter the exact name of their favourite radio station. Favourites can be found and saved by pressing the button found on sonoro's elements W or by going to the Internet: managing your own list of favourites (categorising, deleting, adding, etc.) is possible at sonoro on the Internet site www.mysonoro.com as well. When you have registered your own sonoro Internet radio, an infinite number of stations and podcasts can be saved and managed. As soon as the registered radio goes online, it can automatically access the list of favourites and make it available. How could it be any easier to bring the world into your own home?
